IABMAS 2016
The 8th International Conference on Bridge Maintenance, Safety and Management (IABMAS 2016) will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, PR, Brazil from June 26-30, 2016. The conference is organized on behalf of the International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS), under the auspices of the University of São Paulo, SP, Brazil.
IABMAS
The International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS) encompasses all aspects of bridge maintenance, safety, and management. The objective of IABMAS is to promote international cooperation in the fields of bridge maintenance, safety, and management for the purpose of enhancing the welfare of society. Brazilian IABMAS Group
The Brazilian IABMAS Group (BIG) is the national chapter of IABMAS. Specific objectives of the chapter are to promote local and national meetings, symposia and workshops, aiming at improving the general level of knowledge and promote best practices in bridge maintenance, safety, and management. Aim of the Conference
The international IABMAS 2016 conference aims at providing an appropriate atmosphere for the exchange of experiences related to bridge maintenance, safety, and management. IABMAS 2016 will bring together academics, researchers, professionals and governmental agencies, bridging the gap between theory and practice in bridge maintenance, safety, and management. IABMAS 2016 will provide an informal atmosphere and sufficient free time for scientific connections, interactions with past and future collaborators, and so on.
Delegates
The IABMAS 2016 Conference will be of interest to academics, researchers and practicing professionals acting in all areas of bridge engineering. Bridge engineers acting in private companies, design offices, transportation departments, construction firms and governmental agencies, as well as consultants, are welcome to attend.
Exhibition
Institutions and corporations interested in showcasing their bridge maintenance, safety, and management tools and skills are welcomed to take part in the exhibition, which will be held in parallel to IABMAS 2016.
Conference Proceedings
Papers presented at the conference will be collected in a Conference Proceedings, which will be distributed to registered participants at the Conference.
